Alpine Resorts Victoria welcomes the new and returning members of the Stakeholder Consultative Committees across the State’s six alpine resorts. These committees play a vital consultation role for ARV on matters of strategic and operational importance, and also act as a conduit for information between ARV and stakeholders. This process ensures ARV maintains an open dialogue with stakeholders and can leverage these relationships to realise better outcomes at each resort.
“The Stakeholder Consultative Committees are a crucial channel of engagement with key resort stakeholders with an active interest in the future of the resorts and the broader alpine sector,” said Amber Gardner, CEO of ARV.
“They provide ARV with a vital sounding board on proposed strategies and also ensure that the priorities of stakeholders are kept front of mind with ARV,” she said.
The Stakeholder Consultative Committees meet up to 6 times per year and tackle operational and strategic priorities of the resort, hearing from various subject matter experts and reviewing and providing feedback on ARV’s initiatives.
“These Committees review and discuss a broad range of issues and opportunities that relate to each resort, and also provide the ideal forum to identify all-resorts priorities, which is the benefit of the new amalgamated model under ARV,” said Ms. Gardner.
“We were inundated with applications which shows that stakeholders value these committees as well. We’re thrilled to appoint 47 committee members across the six resort SCCs, as we know they will help to shape their resort’s strategic direction in a positive and sustainable way,” she stated.
