Your chance to help shape the strategic direction of Victoria’s alpine resorts.

Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) invites stakeholders of the State’s six alpine resorts to help shape the strategic direction of these mountains by applying for membership of a Stakeholder Consultative Committee (SCC). With nominations for membership of the 2025-2026 SCCs now open, ARV encourages all suitable and passionate stakeholders to submit a short application to express their interest in one of the following resort SCCs.

  • Falls Creek Alpine Resort
  • Lake Mountain Alpine Resort
  • Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort
  • Mt Buller Alpine Resort
  • Mt Hotham Alpine Resort
  • Mt Stirling Alpine Resort.

SCCs play a pivotal role in the direction of the resorts, providing advice on operational and strategic matters relating to their relevant alpine resort, and surrounding communities. The SCCs also provide a conduit for information and advice between ARV and key stakeholders at each resort, supporting local matters being raised, heard and considered.

What’s involved?

The SCCs comprise of up to 12 people representing key stakeholder groups and individuals from within each resort. The term of membership is two years, and current members are welcome to nominate to renew their position.

The SCCs meet 6 - 8 times per year to discuss the operational and strategic issues that are affecting the resort and its stakeholders. These committees play a key role in ARV’s legislated and localised consultation process and give stakeholders insight into the operations of the resort and say in the strategic direction undertaken.

Members will be expected to attend at least 80% of scheduled meetings, be actively involved in their resort, prepared to bring key stakeholder matters to the committee, and review and discuss strategic and operational matters presented by ARV.
